Exercise Class for the Older Adult

Local fitness instructor Julie Nottingham has been running this very popular gentle exercise class for the older adult – which
includes gents not just the ladies! – since 1996, and is always happy to welcome new participants to this class.
The health benefits of this type of exercise class for the older adult are numerous.

- Specialist qualified instructor in teaching health – related fitness and the older adult
- Class includes plenty of gentle joint mobility exercises, toning and stretching exercises
- Easy to follow low impact, gentle cardiovascular section
- Plenty of alternatives given, and all participants are encouraged to work at their own level
- Chair exercises provided for those participants who do not wish to do the mat-based floor exercises
- Free class handouts and lifestyle advice
- No advanced booking necessary, just turn up, pay-as-you-go
