What does your Parish Council do?

 

Felbridge Parish Council does not provide local services itself but Parish Councillors represent the interests of all Felbridge residents on matters such as:

 

¨            Village planning and development

¨            Highways and footpaths

¨            Road safety and speed limits

¨            Open spaces and amenities

¨            The Environment

¨            Public nuisance

¨            Financial assistance to local organisations

 

 

 

Recent Projects Completed by Felbridge Parish Council:

 

¨            New playground equipment

¨            CCTV covering the village hall, car park and part of the playing field.  In addition the CCTV covers part of the school perimeter and children’s playground

¨            Road Safety improvements

Tell Councillors what you think:

 

The Parish Council meets in the village hall on the first Thursday of every month. Members of the public can attend any Parish meeting and the first 10 minutes are set-aside for the public to raise matters.  Dates for meetings are posted on the village notice boards.  Minutes for the most recent meeting are displayed on the notice board outside the village hall and on the village website.

Parish Councillor Responsibilities

 

The Parish Council meet once a month for a full council meeting and once a month for a short planning meeting.  There are 10 full meetings a year, at which, councillors discuss local issues and concerns etc
