Minutes of the Annual Meeting held on Thursday 3rd July 2008

1.         APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE were received from Mr Ken Rimington (County Councillor).

 

2.         ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

 

            Mrs Bridget Huntington announced her decision to step down as Chairman.  It was proposed by Mr Brian Apps and seconded by Mr Jeremy Clarke that Mr Ian McBryde be elected Chairman for 2008-2009.  This was unanimously agreed.  Mr McBryde then took the chair.  Mrs Linda Hainge thanked Mrs Huntington for the many achievements during her previous year as Chairman.

 

3.         ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

 

            It was proposed by Mrs Bridget Huntington and seconded by Mrs Linda Hainge that Mr Jeremy Clarke be elected Vice-Chairman for 2008-2009.  This was unanimously agreed. 

 

4.         CO-OPTIONS

 

            There were none.

 

5.         DECLARATIONS OF ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE

 

            The newly elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman signed the declarations.

 

6.         DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS, GIFTS AND HOSPITALITY

 

            There were no additions to those previously registered.
