Minutes of the Annual Meeting held on Thursday 22nd June 2006

at 7.30pm in the Village Hall

1.         APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE were received from Mr Ken Harwood.

 

2.         ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

 

            Mr Jeremy Clarke announced his decision to step down as Chairman.  It was proposed by Mr Jeremy Clarke and seconded by Mr Ian McBryde that Mrs Bridget Huntington be elected Chairman for 2006-2007.  This was unanimously agreed.

 

3.         ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

 

            It was proposed by Mr Jeremy Clarke and seconded by Mrs Marian Winn that Mrs Linda Hainge be elected Vice-Chairman for 2006-2007.  This was unanimously agreed.  Mrs Huntington then took the chair.

 

4.         CO-OPTIONS

 

            There were none.

 

5.         DECLARATIONS OF ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE

 

            The Chairman and Vice-Chairman signed the declarations.

 

6.         DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS, GIFTS AND HOSPITALITY

 

            There were no additions to those previously registered.

 

7.         APPOINTMENT OF REPRESENTATIVES

            Felbridge School Governor                               Mrs Barbara Cottier does not wish to

continue as representative.  It was agreed to defer a decision on the appointment of a new representative until Mr Clarke has met with Mr Steve Love, Chairman of the Governors, to discuss this matter.
