"I am delighted that at long last and after such a lengthy battle with Surrey CC Highways, we have got our puffin crossing. Why it needed all the countless hours being wasted chasing shadows created by Surrey, beggars belief. I now hope that Surrey abide by their written agreement of last year, when they informed local residents that will be adversely affected by the re-positioning of the crossing, that it will not be moved until they (the residents) have been properly consulted and have agreed to the new position."
