A22 outside Glendale

The dip in the road was defected by the CHO and the utility company has been asked to carry out repairs

On 27.03.09 the CHO reported that he is unable to progress this repair soon.  In the new financial year he will report this as an HSI defect.

Copthorne Road

The bad hump by the puffin crossing has been inspected by the CHO and is on the repair list.

On 27.03.09 CHO reported that this should be repaired by Sutton and East Surrey Water Board.

Ken H. reported to Michael Sydney two large dips in the road at the pelican crossing in Sept 09 – now marked with a cross.  Re-reported to Michael on 13.11.09 as nothing done.

Storm Water Drains in outside No. 51 and opposite the new development at 41 Copthorne Road are broken

The Star traffic lights and pavement along Crawley Down Rd

Dangerous for pedestrians crossing at lights and uneven pavement along Crawley Down Road

David Borer, Tandridge Access Group, had a meeting with David Curl on 29th July.  Surrey Highways do not consider the pavement along Crawley Down Road to be bad enough to require resurfacing.  David Curl agreed to look at the A22/A264 junction, but this would be a major cost.

4 street lights near Oak Farm Place are still not working

EDF were asked to leave the site on 20.08.08 by a resident as the cables are on 3rd party land.  David Curl visited the site with SCC Street Lighting Engineer w/c 14/9 and will chase EDF to complete.  Email sent to D Curl/R Parker, copy M Sydney, 17.11.09.

Brambles and hedging is obstructing the footpath between Mill Lane and Hedgecourt Place

The footpaths both sides of Copthorne Road, from start of footpath 365A near Doves Barn Nursery, westwards to the county boundary, incl path alongside layby into Furnace Wood, are impassable for pushchairs and wheelchairs due to overgrown edges and hedges.  County Boundary approx 200 metres west of Tandridge sign.
